The coronavirus pandemic has indefinitely delayed the start of the 25th season of SABO’s hummingbird monitoring at the San Pedro House. Under these exceptional circumstances, the health and safety of our banding team and the public take priority over science and education.

We would like to thank our volunteers for their dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work, and our members and supporters, including hummingbird “adopters,” for helping to make this one of North America’s longest-running hummingbird monitoring efforts.

When circumstances allow us to resume normal operations, we will announce the new schedule of public sessions here and on our Facebook page. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
